Peer pressure is when someone pressures you to do something you wouldn't usually try do. If its a really bad case, they may threaten you if you try to say no. The most common place you see it is in high school around teenagers as this is when many people could start drinking, smoking, doing drugs, etc. Usually when one person out of a group starts doing these things, the others start to keep up with them. Reports show that 30% of teens in high school have been offered drugs at least once and 74% have tried alcohol. Also 3.1 million teens have or do smoke.
