For this assessment we were told to chose a topic that is happening to teenagers and people all around the world. I chose Peer Pressure as I found that this is an increasing problem in schools, work places and the community. In making this website I hope to bring forward the issue of Peer Pressure and how big it actually is. I will be touching on what peer pressure is, what you can do to help and some statistics. Many teens have been pressured or have pressured someone else at least once in their life however, that is not always that case. People are pressured everyday, whether they know it or not. The most common place you find Peer Pressure is in high schools as that is when a lot of people are interested in their social standing within the school. It could be when people start drinking, doing drugs, smoking, basically anything from large to small. Some people wont know their being pressured but believe me, they are. If your now an alcoholic, if your a addicted to drugs or if you smoke. Just think how your life would be now if you were never pressured to do any of these things. Imagine if you could just be yourself at school without having to worry about what other people think. This is what we aim for in the future.
